Who has done this?!!!

While shooting my excalibur, I left my thumb on the rail and shot. Ouch...Ouch and ouch!!!!! It didnt rip my thumb off but it is 3 times the size of the other and has turned purple. Has anyone else done it?

OUCH!!! and no...I've taught myself and you should to...to keep your hands off the barrel of the xbow...

My wife did it once. Her thumb looked like a plum for a few days and was fractured in three places. I had to laugh at her though. I had just warned her that she was going to get hit and she told me to "shut up, I know what I'm doing" Hope she don't read this...

I worked with a young lady a few years ago,her husband was
trying to get her into hunting.(About the time crossbows became legal in PA.)
She took her middle finger off just behind the finger nail...not pretty...they amputated back to the next nuckle.

Ouch and yes I have as well. I hit my thumb on the range and thank god it was angled enough that it didn't get ripped off!! Black and blue for a long time and was really painfull. I got lucky and it will never happen again

Thats what I like about the double safety on the Tenpoint. Keeps the thumb below the rail.

thats what I like about the enforcer, dont have to worry with that. keeps fingers down and also keeps more steady.
