question for you excaliber shooters

i have a equinox and was wondering if the string dampners that clamp onto the limbs work very well for noise?i know the noise hasnt mattered on the deer i have shot so far but they have all been under 25 yards...was looking at this option also so i could get my quiver on top of the bow instead of the stinking factory placement...

Re: question for you excaliber shooters

The disapator bars...i heard worked...i only have the s5 s, as for quiver mounts i dont think there is an option...looking at mine i cant see how one would mount..unless you design one for the stirrup mount ....dont think that will work either

Come and try to take my guns!.you might meet my precious metal collection!

For the top mount you have that option or this one made by Bohning. You can see it in the pic below or on Arrowheads front page. http://arrowhead-outdoors.com/

Re: question for you excaliber shooters

I have both the factory dissipator pads and a aftermarket set of suppressors on my Excal Vortex. I believe the supporessors help more with vibration than with noise. Vibration is quite a bot on recurves so I believe the stops are worth the little extra cost.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: question for you excaliber shooters

The supressors help with vibration and dramatically help in the instance of a dry fire.
I have a set of STS supressors and a top mount quiver bracket for sale if anyone is interested. (fits Excaliburs)
