Advice Needed -- Arrows

Since someone was kind enough to steal the arrows out of my truck yesterday, I'm going to have to pick up some arrows for my Parker Buck Buster 175#. Now here's where my question comes up...

Parker recommends that you only use Parker's RED HOT or Parker's Hunting Arrows in Parker crossbows. Is this recommendation warranted or is it just so Parker gets more cash from you as opposed to some other company?

The reason I ask is because I haven't seen any RED HOT arrows in any stores around the area and I'd like to get out again tonight to do some more hunting.

Re: Advice Needed -- Arrows

In most cases you are correct... they always recommend the arrows that THEY make for "best performance"... but any decent arrow with the correct spine for your crossbow will work as well or possibly even better. Contact your archery shop pro to determine which options are best for you.... and be safe out there....

the cheaper carbon express bolts are basiclly the same thing as the parker hunters, note the parker hunters are made by carbon express. just make shure they have moon nocks and you can shoot any arrow you want to as long as it meets the minimum weight.

Re: Advice Needed -- Arrows

You can shoot any 20 or 22 inch crossbow arrow that has moon type nocks. Absolutly no flat nocks in Parkers.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
