Bowjax Limbsavers

I bought some limbsavers for my Horton, I must say they quieted it down alot BUT when I got home last evening from hunting I shot an old aluminum bolt into the ground to decock it and it sounded awlful loud. I looked at my limbs and the rubber parts of the limbsavers were missing!!! I thought what the heck is going on? My wife found the one in the yard just a couple of minutes ago. I put it back on. I looked at the pic I posted on the Ghost Blind and lo and behold the one was missing in the picture and I didn't even realize it. It's the one on the right. I'm going up to where I was hunting yesterday and see if I can find it. Anyone else ever have that problem?

My name is Moss and i'm a turkey huntin' addict

Re: Bowjax Limbsavers

Are they the ones that mount with the sticky glue already on the rubber? I had them on my xbow and they stayed on for 2-3 years then each one faell of a week apart. Got new ones and cleaned the limb well with rubbing alcohol and they have been on for 2yrs now. I know there is a lot of vibration shock . I always have the string dampers breaking off after a year or so/
