Parker Hurricane

Do any of you guys have the Parker hurricane bow? I was set on a new cyclone, but saw the hurricane today for about $500 The guy i talked with said the only difference between the two was the butt stock. Any one know more about that?

Re: Parker Hurricane

Hurricane and Cyclone are the same bow except the buttstock. Some claim that the Hurricane is quieter because it has a rigid stock.

Either of the above are top performing bows with excellent customer service and warranty.

Re: Parker Hurricane

The 2009 models- the only difference was the buttstock.

If you are comparing the 2009 Hurricane and the 2010 Cyclone the 2010 Cyclone is 2 inches shorter. It makes it feel alot less front heavy. One of the problems I had with the 2009 model was that it was front heavy. The 2010 is balanced much better. That is a good deal on the Hurricane. It originally cost $749

Oops, forgot the little tidbit. New Cyclone is a different beast.

Re: Parker Hurricane

Thanks guys! I was talkin about the 09' models. I might have to pass on the new cyclone and get the hurricane for that price. It came with scope and quiver for $499+tax. He had 3 left today when i was there. Thanks again!
