I just set my dads crossbow up Ghost 400.. shoots really fast and on a string (as it should).. The owner of Drop Tine Archery suggested 100 Gr killzone 2 blades.. they are the rear deploying, no rubber bands or anything..
all fine and dandy but when i get home i notice on the back of the package it states that you shouldnt use them in a crossbow that shoots over 350 FPS
He personally shoots them out of his ghost he says.. think i can hold him to that if something doesnt function properly? Ive bought a lot from him and i know he wouldnt just give them to me just to make a sale..
wondering your thoughts
The uncommon man is merely the common man thinking and dreaming of success in larger terms
NAP is well respected and they do not recommend the killzones fast crossbows as the packaging says. Their testing probably showed a high enough failure rate that called for the warning. Why take the chance, especially in a very fast bow.
I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
