Barnett Ghost 400 CRT 3x32 Scope Question

The sight has 4 reticle dots inside. Kind of a silly question perhaps but what distance is the first one to be sighted in at? Appreciate the help as i'm setting my dads crossbow up that i just got for him

Re: Barnett Ghost 400 CRT 3x32 Scope Question

first one make 15 yards, second 25 yards, third 35 yards and so on..These crossbows shoot very flat so it is a waste of time to do 10 yards...

I like 20 to 25 for the first hash in fast bows. Yu will be good from 0-30 without changing your hold.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Barnett Ghost 400 CRT 3x32 Scope Question

You may want to try the first mark at 30 and see where it hits at 10 and 20. I have a 380 f.p.s. bow here that shoots it's first dot at 25 and the second dot is good out to 40.

wax strings everythime you use it like a regular bow, a light coating of rail lube will be good . some people say too much rail lube will cause issues.

Re: Barnett Ghost 400 CRT 3x32 Scope Question

I've been using a product for removing arrows from targets called arrow snot. It makes great rail lube. I use string snot to wax the string. Great products.
