lighted nock?

Do they make a screw-in version of a lighted flat nock for my Gold Tip arrows?

Re: lighted nock?

Why do you need screw ins? The ones I use on my Gold Tips are just plain old slide ins... How do screw-in knocks work?

Good night Chesty, wherever you are......

No. You have to remove your existing nock to install lighted nocks.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: lighted nock?

It's hard to get my flat nocks out so I was wondering if someone made a screw-in to go in the nock that's already in place.

Don't think they do, but it is a nice idea. Would definately make it easy.

Re: lighted nock?

I did a few tonight for a buddy of my'in...with a lighter heat but don't keep the flame on one spot with carbons...turn arrow in circles when heating and then pull on edge of nock will slip right out...carbons in a vice will get damaged also so becareful...

Re: lighted nock?

Screw a fieldtip into the nock and hold it over a candle flame a few seconds, then use a pliers to pull out the nock. I tried the Lumenoks in my Gold Tips and was not happy with them. Sometimes they stayed lit, other times they went out when it hit the target. Some say they won't affect arrow flight but they did mine. At 30 yds or less it was not noticeable but at 40 yds I sometimes saw a wobble and most of the time they shot low. It might have been the 125 gr broadheads but I have neither the time nor money to try out 100 grns.
