I like top mounts whose arrows are perpindicular to the barrel for several reasons.

Arrows on top allow you to lay your bow down and carry it by a sling without the arrows hitting the ground or your back.

Even though I take my quiver off when hunting, the bracket that holds it is not up front which decreases the front heavy factor with crossbows.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

My Excal Exocet 200. Have since put S5 String Suppressors on...quiet as a mouse coupled with the factory included Excal Dissipator bar/pads. I love the simplicity/outstanding performance of my Excal!
