Mingo Creek hunting

I read online that hunting is permitted thru the PGC. After searching the web site i cant find any info. Anyone know anything about this

I don't have first hand experience, but from what I've gathered you have to get a permit from the park. I think they assign you an area, and only allow so many hunters in the park per day, on a first come first serve basis.

Pretty sure it used to be late season muzzy and maybe bow, and you went for a permit. Not sure if that changed but I don't believe the park is open to rifle..... is it ?

Use to be an application available from the Washington County Parks and Recreation division however I don't see that on their website this year?? May want to contact parks and recreation to ask??

I thought I heard that this hunt is every other year? I believe it was hunted last year.

No rifle hunting bow and muzzleloader after xmas only you get the permit at the courthouse the park borders my family's farm

Your 100% right.So unless the rules change this year they won,t open it up again till next season after this upcoming one.

I don't think hunting is available there this year. I don't see anything on the Washington County Website about it. Like DPMS said I think it is every other year.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!
