Parker

Took my nephew to our local archery store to look and shoot differant crossbows,I notice that some bows have scopes on them that says "Parker"others had red hot.Are "Parker"scopes something new? Looks pretty long compare to red hot. The new tomahawk did that take the place of buckbuster? If so it,s small in length and top heavy! Time will tell if it sells, He bought a enforcer,at 6ft.4 inch, it felt a lot better then the shorter stock tomahank.

Re: Parker

I believe Parker switched to Hawke Optics about 4-5 years ago. They are labeled Parker or Red Hot but are manufacturered by Hawke for Parker. Great crossbows scopes that many crossbow manufacturers are using. I own several and have no complaints.

Re: Parker

For 2012 the Enforcer, Bushwacker and Challenger have the 4x scope option. It's not the 3x re-branded Hawke that the rest of the line has on them. The 4x scope isn't the quality of the 3x and it reflects in the package price.

I would go with the 3x Illuminated package instead, so that you get the better optics.

Re: Parker

So the 4X are not Hawkes on 2012s? If not Hawkes, whose?

Re: Parker

I'm not sure who is making them, but they seem to be about the same quality as TruGlo. They are not very good optics. JMHO
This is just for the 4x scopes. The 3x are still Hawke.

Re: Parker

I know Parker used to use TruGlo previously as my Cyclone came with a TruGlo. I wish they would stick with Hawke for all of thier optics.

Re: Parker

I was thinking the same thing Gene. They should use all Hawke scopes and keep that reputation of using one of the best crossbow scopes on the market. If it`s about the $$$$$$, then just put the price difference in the package or eat it.
