Call or PM Arrowhead. His info is a sticky at the top of the forum. He is one of the most knowledgable people in the business. He will be able to steer you in the right direction. There are a ton of choices now when it comes to crossbows and accessories. Arrowhead will give you the straight scoop. Alot of people on here have bought there bows from him. I have never seen a negative post about him either. His pricing is very competetive as well.

Re: Thinking of making the switch

There are many things to consider. Do you hunt from a treestand? Or a groundblind?
A few dollars over $500 will get you a very good crossbow. The Wicked Ridge Invader and the Excalibur Axiom or Ibex will make a very good bow to get you started. They are both very good companies and stand behind there products. Give me a call at 814-662-4321 I would be happy to talk crossbow with you. I sell all major brands. Lets find the one that is rigbt for you.

Re: Thinking of making the switch

Depending on the bow you have it may trade well. I have a fairly large "wanted" list for the verticals.
