Horton Yukon SL

I have a chance to get a Horton Yukon SL, 150 # crossbow. Has anyone used this crossbow? I am looking for feedback on this model..No offence.. but I do no need replies That 10 point, Excallibur..etc. are a better crossbow.

Just wondering if anyone has used the Horton Yukon for deer hunting and their experiences with this crossbow. Thanks.

Re: Horton Yukon SL

I have shot one several times but never hunted with one. Solid bow for what you are gonna spend. Should last forever with minimal maintenance. Keep your shots to under 30 yards.

Good luck.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Horton Yukon SL

I've shot them. Seem like a good bow from what I've seen. Parts were impossible to get last summer, but that appears to be getting better.

Re: Horton Yukon SL

Concur with DPMS...keep under 30 yards, especially with the peep. Great way to try something new without breaking the bank. Very noisy, but tough to find a crossbow that isn't.
