Veterans day 2012, I'd like to host a veteran

Just an early invitation here. With the news today that 2012 archery season will now include Monday Nov 12th, Veterans Day, got me to thinking and i would love to hunt with a veteran that weekend. it would be a real honor to host you for the weekend.

So if anyone one here is a veteran, would like to hunt a GREAT rut spot on private ground, and a willingness to use a crossbow ( i got an extra if needed) PLEASE let me know. Regardless of how my archery season goes to that point, i would love for it to end that way.

Just an offer that crossed my mind today with the Veterans Day extension news. Other days may work too...but i think that weekend would mean alot.

Thanks guys, just hit me 5 minutes ago when i read the news on the extension. just seems to be a good way to say Thanks on that holiday. I hope to have a small camp on the property by then and look forward to having more folks hunt with us. "hill" don't cool down on me now...LOL

Great gesture. Certianly someone will greatly appreciate the opportunity.

I know how important it is for me to keep the special arrow that harvested the game. With that in mind I'll send some red, white and blue fletched arrows your way RB.

Re: Veterans day 2012, I'd like to host a veteran

Now THIS is the HPA i have missed...thanks guys for the responses and the PMs of help.

It just seemed like a good way to celebrate the day and the fact that the PGC gave us the extra day. Last year on the last weekend my 12 yo old niece saw 6 bucks, 2 real trophies from that stand after my boy and i both took a nice ones in the weeksbefore (she missed 3 that day, cause she got the fever so bad with the racks). Obviously every year is different, but if I could give someone a day like that to thank them for the days they spent away from home and family to protect mine.....well it would be highlight in this thing i do called hunting.

I am sure my niece would understand...
