New Hawke Crossbow 1.5-5x32 SR Scope

Finally got to shoot the new Hawke Crossbow scope and was pretty impressed with it. I like the crosshair design. It is sighted in and ready for turkey.

Re: New Hawke Crossbow 1.5-5x32 SR Scope

There are nice scopes. Anything from Hawke is gonna be good for crossbows.

Just so folks know, the 1.5-5X is by way of a speed selector ring. The ring is adjusted to match the speed of your bow so that the aiming points are tuned to each individual bow.

Once the speed selector is set, you cannot adjust the power or it will affect your aiming points.

So basically, depending on how fast your bow is, you may end up fixed at 2X or 5X.

The funny thing was the scope was dead on when shooting 100 grain field points with no adjustments what so ever. Talk about lucky. When I put on the 150 grain heads I had to make a little adjustment and that was it. It was the easiest sight-in job that I have done.

You gonna shoot the Bolt Sonics for turks as well?

No I am going to shoot the 125 grain sonics with an adder point that will make them 150 grain. I tried them out today and they shot the same as the 150 grain bolt sonics. The adder points are sure rough on the target though. I am going to use this same setup for groundhog this year as well. I bought some 125 grain sonics really cheap on Ebay a while back.
