Re: barnett jackal

Good bow for the money. It is on th eloud side compared to some others but the lower end Barnetts tend to be louder. The are known to produce fast bows at a affordable price point. The trade off is noise and vibration.

They have been reliable and thier customer service has been improving.

Good luck and if your do make the purchase, fill us in on your impressions.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: barnett jackal

There were a few unhappy buyers last fall, but overall it's a good bow for the money and Barnett will fix any problems.

Re: barnett jackal

I shoot a Jackel. It's very fast and accurate. It is loud but I don't think any louder than some others I have been around when fired. Nice crossbow for the money. I had one dealing with Barnett's customer service and they were great.
