stryker help

I have a desert stryker and when i pull the trigger it doent fire right away it takes about 1 second to go off, what could cause that?

That's got ugly and dangerous written all over it. Is this the same bow that you mentioned possibily buying earlier?

If so, did the original owner state simlar problems or mention this one?

There is so much power in the limbs of the Desert Stryker that there has to be some serious gum in the trigger latch or trigger mechanism for it not to release instantly. Either that or a major mechnical issue within the trigger.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

If I remember correctly there were a few with trigger issues. I would call them and see what they can do for you. I wouldn't shoot it until it's fixed, eventually it will stick and then you have a grenade (without the pin) on your hands.

Yes some of the earlier Desert Stryker's had trigger issues and many were replaced. Check with your local Bowtech Dealer.

dpms, yes its the same bow.shot great at first then I heard a metal on metal sound thats when it started not fireing on time. Will be looking for a dealer today.
