New XBow

Ok XBow experts I am looking at getting a used Desert Stryker with 20 bolts, BDC scope & soft case only shot 5 times. Whats a good price ? he's asking $600 for it. Thanks for your advice in advance.

Re: New XBow

That is a great price. If you don't like it, you won't have a problem selling it. One word of caution though, if you are new to crossbows, you might want to re-think your decision to buy a Desert Stryker. I wouldn't consider them a beginners bow.

What's the problem with it ? not new to crossbows but don't have a lot of experience with them.

Re: New XBow

Nothing really worng with the Desert Stryker, but I would never recommend one to somebody new to crossbows. It would be the equilivent of giving a Ferrari to a 16 year old. There is a bit of a learning curve with crossbows. If you follow a few rules and make no mistakes you should be just fine. However, I know folks that have shot crossbows most of thier lives and they still make a mistake now and then. (inculding myself)
