Barnett 350 problems

I have recieved a barnett ghost 350 for christmas and I love it or so I thought. It is very accurate quiet and fast but the string is freeing around the pulley part. I don't know if I should get a new string call the company. I also wax the string 1 a month when it's not in use and 1 time a week during hunting season. Also something I am very worried about is that the part of the metal pulley is bending because the string is so tight on it. What should I do? Do any of you guys have these problems? So what will it be pay for the pulley to be fixed and buy a new string or call the company about it? Thx

Re: Barnett 350 problems

Should be 100% covered under warranty by the sounds of it. I would call Barnett customer service, or if you bought from a dealer, give them a call and maybe they will take of it for you.

I would not shoot it any longer either until it is repaired.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Barnett 350 problems

If you shoot the crossbow without an arrow in it to decock it can frey the string and damage it...It can also damage alot of other components including the limbs...

Call Barnett. They should be able to help. 800-237-4507 They almost never answer the phone, but let a message. They will call you back.
