re-serving a string?

I have an excalibur Equinox and am thinking of learning how to reserve the string. Is there a how-to dvd to get started. How expensive is it to get started, and how hard is it.This question may be for Arrowhead and anyone else who has done it. Thanks!!

Re: re-serving a string?

There is a kit made by Bohning that has the serving spool, serving, (not for crossbow use) string seperator, string wax, cable holder and the instructional DVD. They are $29.49 in the store.

All you really need is the serving spool and serving to do crossbow string servings. Watch the youtube videos and your all set.

Also, as a side note- I'm going to be running a special in the next week or so on string re-serving for the Excalibur guys.
