Went to a deer diner tonight w/Charlie Alsheimer as guest speaker in Clark Summit, Pa. Had a good time & won a $20 gift card to Gander Mt.!!!!

He said 2012 is going to be a great rut year, Up north he said from Oct. 29 thru Nov. 12. , Ealier than last year

Not a believer in his theories but I will take every boost of confidence I can. I have vacation scheduled from November 2nd through the 12th.

Agreed. In PA, given the weather isn't wacky, expect heavy buck activity starting around November 3rd, regardless of the moon. The 11-3 through the 11-9 is the best 7 days to be in the woods. Period.
