How'd I do?

Went to my local bow shop just browsing... Looking for a crossbow for my dad. I have been looking at Excalibur Axioms. But I didn't want to spend alot of cash because he isn't a real diehard hunter.
I ended up lucking into a Wicked Ridge warrior package set up with 6 carbon express bolts and grim reaper broad heads for $250 out the door.
Someone left if for a loan as collateral and never returned. I don't know alot about these because most of my research was for the Excalibur. But I have heard they are pretty good bows.

So that's why I ask... How'd I do???

Re: How'd I do?

This was a used bow, I assume? If so a fair deal, if a new bow a great deal.

No hesitation recommending Wicked Ridge.

Re: How'd I do?

Yes it was used. By the looks of the serving it wasn't shot to much. So I would say lightly used.

Re: How'd I do?

I'm not a huge fan of grim reapers
So what's the best broadhead to start with??

My personal favorite is the G5 Striker. Second place would go to the Sonic or Tru-Fire T1.

I am a fixed blade guy. With high FOC arrows, Sonics, G5 Strikers, Slick Tricks and Razor Tricks have never disappointed.
