Upgrading or new purchase this year?

Just checking to see who is poking around for a new crossbow this year. I bought a Barnett Wildcat for my son last year, glad I did I broke my wrist and ended up carrying it myself. The bow worked perfect, accurate and fast. We had alot of fun shooting it this year, was my first crossbow and I tell you, cool weapon.
Anyway, looking to upgrade or may just buy one for myself. Been looking hard at the Barnett Ghost 350, had a great experience with my Wildcat. Also Parker Tornado, that bow just feels so good. Horton Vision is on my list as well, just don't like the cocking sled.
Might wait until the Sportsman show to see what else is new for this year.
Anyone else on the prowl? Whats on your radar? Likes and dislikes with what is available?

Thinking hard between the Horton Summit 150 or more so (and granted it's alot more $$$) the Excalibur Vortex Red Dot....this is the 1 I'm shooting for the most....just alot more money.

I'd be willing to purchase someones old crossbow if they upgrade.

Parker Tornado would be a fine selection. IMO

Tornado has changed for this year. I'm still undecided if it was for the better. I'm going to spend some time with one, before I say either way.

The Wicked Ridge Raider is a very nice bow. I had the chance to spend some time with one and I liked it alot. At $799 I don't think you can find a better value for your dollar. The whole Wicked Ridge line got an upgrade this year and they are all worth a look. The Ten Point Titan is also getting a new look this year. Well worth a look.

The Excalibur line are all good. My favorites are the new Ibex and the Axiom SMF. The Vortex would be my second choice.

Carbon Express has the new SLS. Nice crossbow for the money. Loud and a little heavy, but at the price it's a good value.

The tenpoint is a great bow. There is just something I didn't jive with, understandingly Wicked Ridge the same feeling.

There is alot to like about the Carbon Express just too loud for me.

Not looking anymore. I just got back from Arrowhead's where I picked up a new Excalibur Vortex. Now I just need to get it out to shoot some.

Thinking about a new Bowtech. My 09 Strykeforce has been flawless. I would like something a tad lighter and with a lighter trigger. Thinking seriously about a 350. Might just do it.
