Thoughts/Opinions

I am considering purchasing a Tenpoint HLX with AcuDraw from a friend. The crossbow has only been used for target practice, comes with 8 bolts, hard case, soft case, scope, and quiver--he's asking $600. Is this a good deal?

I've read up on these and people seem to really like them

Re: Thoughts/Opinions

IMO you can get a brand new one for maybe a hundred bucks more that shoot much faster and is much lighter. Ten Point makes solid stuff but it is really heavy. For what is included it sounds like a good deal, given the amount of accessories.

I shoot the Tenpoint Turbo HLT and really like it. I know others with the HLX that like theirs. Tenpoint is a good product with very good customer service. They're in Ohio. I'm not sure the price is a great deal but I think it's a fair deal.

Re: Thoughts/Opinions

Thanks guys--that was my thought. With the accessories, I thought it was worth it.

Titan Extreme with Acudraw for 2012 would be $799. I'd say it's a fair deal.
