Jim Kempf's new Scorpyd, the RDT 165 promises to the the "speed Bow" of 2010. At 425 f.p.s. with a 400 grain arrow this will be the bow to beat.
It is a heavy crossbow in the sense that it weighs more than most, but the way it balances in a standing position makes it very user friendly. It balances so well it almost "rights" itself if you tip it sideways. Very quiet and the trigger is really good for a crossbow at 2 1/2 lbs. It also uses Winners Choice strings and cables, Barnesdale limbs, Hawke optics and Bowjax string stoppers. Quality throughout.
