Using both fingers is what I discovered as well. It took a bit of work, but that shouldn't be necessary in my opinion. In the heat of the moment if you need to quickly flip off the safety you will probably make noise that could spook a deer for sure, especially on a calm, silent morning. The other drawback with the TenPoint was that you cant wrap your left hand inside the stock to keep your fingers below the rail. I really liked that design on the Parker.
