Shoot thru mesh

I am taking my son out on Saturday with a Xbow for his first hunt. Put up my blind, brushed it in good. Has anyone shot there bolts thru the mesh windows? Thanks Dave

Re: Shoot thru mesh

I have, to twenty yards. Same point of impact for me but these were with cut on contact heads. I wouldn't be comfortable shooting at game without trying it first.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Shoot thru mesh

Dont do it... Put your blind so you do not have to have openings in the back. You already brushed in and the openings you have to shoot out of will not effect a deer. Plus you will feel much more confident not doing it. I woudl never trust this method. Everything has to go right anyway why make it harder.
