enforcer string problem ?

Hello all, Hope this isn't a dumb question. I noticed while out hunting Saturday that my string is starting to fray on the left side near my pulley. I don't think any of the strands are actually broken. I probably have about 50 to 75 shots through it. Should this be replaced ASAP ? I'm working on adding a pic

Re: enforcer string problem ?

It shouldn't look like that after only 75 shots. There might be a problem somewhere. I'd keep shooting and inspect it after every shot. If anyting at all happens I would have it checked out immediately. If it wasn't hunting season, I would tell you to have it checked out right away.

It's hard to tell the damage from a picture, but it looks like a tiny fray. If it's more than that you will want to get it looked at for sure. Your call in any event, just make all errors on the safe side. Better to be safe than sorry.
