You can tell the guys that are completely against crossbows vs. those that try to be objective.

The facts are generally on one side. Lots of stereotypes and assumptions on the other.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

I think the question should be " Who is more likely to make a bad shot resulting in a wounded animal, 1. a person who only occasionally practices, say 1-2 times per month if the weather is nice then ramps it up to shooting a dozen shots the week before the opener or 2. a person who practices routinely 52 weeks a year ?"

If this hasn't already been said (didn't read all posts):

Maybe because more hunters are using them now than ever before??

If you hunt often enough, you will eventually make a bad hit on a deer no matter what weapon your using. Or, at the very least make a marginal hit and never recover the animal. It happens to all of us.

Good Luck & Shoot Straight

Maybe you should go back and read all the posts. Facts have been posted that prove the OP's opinion has no basis of fact.

There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true.

Well see I thought it was always the drunk traditional hunt from camp rifle hunters, that donít pick there gun up til 2 days before rifle season each year and if the can hit a paper plate are happy!
I thought they wounded the most deer.
I thought that was why the pgc moved the opener up to Saturday!!! So they could get drunk Saturday night celebrating their wounded deer. Sleep it off Sunday. Then go home.🙃
