Re: bow hanger for crossbow

I used a 1 x 4 pc of treated wood,10 inches long. a 6 or 8 inch long 5/16 deck bolt, and 6 or 8 inches of rubber vaccum line to cover the exposed threads . put the rubber hose over the bolt, screw it into the wood 1 inch, and then screw the wood onto a wall into a stud. My parker has been hanging on this home made hanger for 2 years now. with out a hitch.

Re: bow hanger for crossbow

thanks for the ideas,
devastator Ill look around the hardware store for a large hanger to use while hunting, roland after reading your post I came up with an Idea to make rack/stand to hold my crossbow. since I live in an apartment and dont want to put a hole in the wall I will get some 2X4s and come up with a stand to hold it and some of my other hunting gear.
