Horton Vision

Anyone tried these out yet? I bought one but haven't made time to shoot it, what is a realistic arrow speed?

Re: Horton Vision

I know some guys that are shooting the Vision. So far they all like them.

One thing the guy learned for sure...DO NOT dry fire a Vision. It exploded and the string actually cut his neck pretty bad.

I have the new Horton Team Realtree Ultra Light and like it.

Take a kid hunting, it's the future of our sport and the future is now!

I love mine! I do wish it had a Dry Fire Inhibitor.

This is true of all crossbows. Dryfires can be very bad and dangerous.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!

Re: Horton Vision

My dad got one last week and I shot it over the weekend and it was like shooting a 22. There was no shock whatsoever. Nice little crossbow

Re: Horton Vision

I like mine very much. Quiet and very accurate.

Had to work with broad heads a bit, it really likes Slick Trick 125 mags.

Shooting the new Horton Carbon Bone Collector bolt with 3" vanes.

Re: Horton Vision

His string broke yesterday, only about a week old. He is taking it back today

Re: Horton Vision

Seen the commercial for it. Something about that crossbow just looks outright awesome!

Re: Horton Vision

I have seen 4 or 5 Vesions with broken strings while they were sighting in. One friend has one and never had a problem. Go figure!
