Crossbow Target

Any recommendations on a good crossbow target. I've heard the bag targets work good. I can use what is left of my old Block target for broadheads so I pretty much just need something for field tips.

Re: Crossbow Target

Ace shot right thru his Tough Bag with field points and I just about shot thru my tough bag last night with broad heads (my makeshift bag stand, a fiberglass axe) but the axe handle stopped the arrow, and it blew the handle apart.

Our range has yellow jacket bags and they seam to work really well with crossbows.

You can have it when you rip it from my cold, dead hands.........

Re: Crossbow Target

Absolute best is a Spyderweb for field points. I am on my 3rd year and no wear or tear and still 2 finger pullout from a CB arrow hitting it at 375fps. A little pricey but worth every penny!

Re: Crossbow Target

Take an old corn bag and fill it up with old clothes. Then roll it down tight and wrap it tight with shrink wrap or Saran Wrap type paper. It works awesome ..

Teach your wife to hunt, then you will not have to hunt for her in the mall.

Re: Crossbow Target

I have the Morrel but I bury my arrows too deep into it, and that is on the shortest side. My vanes are usually in the target. I know this sounds a little crazy but I take 2 very thick pot holders and a pull from the base of the broadhead to get them out. I want something better myself

Re: Crossbow Target

Rinehart 18-1 is awesome for anything.

I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
