Re: Ground Blinds

I've tried the doghouse. I hate it for crossbow use. There isn't enough room in it. Just my opinion though.

Re: Ground Blinds

I have two ameristep hub style that I like. Nice and roomy. I'm 6'3 and have lots of room. I hunt with a freind that has a dog house. He is 5"6 and likes his but it doesn't work for me I've tried it and it feels clostrafobic to me. I don't care for the windows in the doghouse.

Re: Ground Blinds

I just bought the Ameristep Crossbones blind since it was designed for crossbows. We set it up this weekend and I like it much better than the other ground blinds that I was considering. The windows are larger and allows you to view more.

Surprisingly, Cabelas had the best price at $150 plus $20 off coupon.

Re: Ground Blinds

I have the ameristep doghouse and I hunt out of it. I am
5'6 and I have enough room in it. There isn't a whole lot
of extra room but enough for me to do what I need to in it.
I have shot several deer from them.

I'd rather be fishing or hunting!
