No, I haven't won the Powerball, and there's no way I have enough $$$ to blow on either of these. Just for S&G, though, as I wait for the season to begin, I've looked at the stats and asked myself, "if I did have the cash, which of these would I buy?"
My gut feel is the Mission... more history with Matthews, better warranty. Less 'wow' factor, but that isn't anything.
So, there's the question: if you had the money to spend, which would you pick, and why?
(And yeah, I know... in another week, I'll have enough to worry about that I won't be surfing the web and only thinking about hunting... )
I have a Ravin R9 and would buy it again in a heartbeat.
As far as hitting the lottery in order to buy one, in 2 different magazines the average price for
the top 10 new compounds tested was over a $1000.00
I'll say this - Have no experience with the Mission or the R10 but I did just put together and shoot in a Ravin R20 Sniper. If the R10 is similar to the R20 I'd say get it. I was very impressed with the features and design. Not to mention the ability to decock the bow without shooting it off. (Maybe the Mission can as well I do not know) and the accuracy impressed me. I did not shoot it past 100 yrds but out to 100 yrds it was ridiculous!
