gia, I understand your frustration. I did speak with Winchester at great length Monday morning. I think they are sincere about shipping them this time.

Maybe so but jeez this is just plain crazy.........either they are or they are not..........Simple.......Why is the truth so hard for them. And do i want to do business with folks that just keep on with this childish behavior....I have to admit that i am pretty feed up with the game playing at this point...

Did they finish with "you can write that in stone"?

Thats a bummer. I can only hope it is due to continued testing to ensure their products are bulletproof.

Re: Whinchester Crossbows to be shipped!!!!!!

I wonder how many sales Winchester lost in the last couple of weeks considering this has to be the top selling months I would think. Worse time of year to not hold a promise of when they would be ready. The middle of September doesn't give people much time to get them ready for season, and when you don't hold a promise then people get upset and go elsewhere. I would bet that they lost a lot of sales.

No doubt. But, after watching Bowtech's struggles with their Strykezones, if they are holding back for more testing, better to introduce a winner than a product plagued with problems.

After spending time with the designer of the Winchester crossbows, I remain convinced that the delay will be worth it when it is all said and done.

Re: Whinchester Crossbows to be shipped!!!!!!

They may have lost sales but not anywhere near as many as they would have if the product was not ready as described. The internet bad reviews would have kept them at the starting gate to never recover and enter the actual race.In business you get bad reviews on great products or services just because someone spent money they wish later they didn't.This site is a prime example of the internet like/dislike of products. When those bows come out searches on Winchester crossbows will soar.If you had a company would you wait and put out your best product or release it before it was what you wanted it to be?

Bob Seger,till it shines.
