broadheads for carbon bolts

i just ordered 6 parker carbon bolts, what grain and type shoot good out of a parker tornado? i was told 125 gr.

G5 Strikers in 100 grain weight. 125's might be better depending on what Parker carbons you bought. If you got the economy carbons from parker...use the 125's. If you got the Red Hots go with the 100's.
The G5 Striker and Montec both shoot same point of impact as field points.

i am no expert on this, but the owners manual that came with my tornado said 100 grain only.

i am shooting 100 grain ABC Sonic Pro 100s on Gold Tip Laser II arrows.

per arrowhead's suggestion, i picked up a pack of G5 Strikers but have not had a chance to try them out.

The economy arrows from Parker need a bit more weight forward to make them shoot accurate. The extra weight will make them come in at 427 grains total weight, and give a F.O.C. of around 18%. We have found that the Parkers like the FOC at 18%. The extra weight won't hurt a thing, as the Red Hots are 425 grains.
