First Ohio Deer for the New Camp

Well we finally broke the ice. We had been holding out for buck only, but with the cooler weather this weekend, I gave Colton the go ahead on a doe. Actually didn't see her on stand, but after we got down we went to check camera cards and we walked up on her. He caught her a touch back but she didn't go over a hundred yards. Unfortunately she went to the bottom of the hollow which made the drag out a little difficult but we made it.

Nice way to break in the new property. Maybe old freaky rack makes an appearance before it is all said and done on year one.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
