Re: Anybody hunting with an SA Sports Fever??

I have an SA sports crossbow, pretty sure its the terminator but I'd assume there similar. The scope that comes with them is terrible, shoots a little high (I can shoot pretty accurately because I'm used too it) but same spot every time. Fast but also a little loud. No issues with it so far shot it many times

Mine is a recurve, is yours as well, have you killed deer with it?

Yes also a recurve, and not yet but I'm more then confident in it, it goes clean through most targets with just a field point. I've also seen plenty of videos of Sa sports xbows taking down big deer.

Yeah I seen some of those vids, but its usually the Dragon or Ambush compounds, haven't seen anything but one on the Jaquar crossbow, but the kid spined both deer.

My Friend uses one and has bagged many a deer with it. He also sells them and cannot keep them in stock this time of year.

Re: Anybody hunting with an SA Sports Fever??

This is my 2nd year using one and think it'd be fine out to 30 yards. I shot a doe with it last year at 20 yards and the bolt passed through just fine and deer ran maybe 50 yards. The scope isn't the best but once sighted in at 20 it's right on at 30 with the next crosshair down.

No sorry don't have a picture. It wasn't a real big deer but I'm sure if you make a good shot it'll do just fine.
