Mechanical Broadheads and Quiver

This is my first year using mechanical broad-heads(rage 2 blade 2 inch cut). I got them together put them in the quiver and 2 of them went off and broke the plastic collar. How do you get them in the quiver. Gently I guess

Re: Mechanical Broadheads and Quiver

Wow I never thought of that happening. Maybe another reason to stick with fixed blades?

I haven't had this happen. I try to be more careful than anything. Then only slidea them up till the tip contacts.

Re: Mechanical Broadheads and Quiver

Its best to have a quiver that holds the arrow shaft in two places and don't ram them into the quiver hood

Re: Mechanical Broadheads and Quiver

The metal collars hold much better. I haven't had an issue since they started supplying those.
