Broken bolt

Any one have a bolt break in midflight before. I bought a dozen Victory archery Voodoo bolts last year shot them all season and love them. I went out the other day to test a couple different broadheads. I pulled out two new bolts I haven't used yet put the broadheads on shot the first one.

I seen the bolt drop super low and to the left and seen it hit the ground in front of my target. I figure the broadhead need tuned in. I walked up to my target to my surprise I seen the end of my bolt with the vanes on it sticking out of the target. That's strange I watched the bolt hit the ground. I pulled out the bolt, and it was busted off. I looked every where for the other end with the broadhead on it but never could find it. Has anyone ever hear off this happening?

Re: Broken bolt

If it broke in flight, the bolt was likely compromised in some way before the shot and the stress of the shot did it in.
