A reminder.

Thought I would remind everyone to check there xbows. I found some screws loose today on mine. I've been shooting it for 3 weeks now. Setting the brace height. Today I was shooting at 40 yds. I finally had the string set to where it was before. Then the bolts dropped about 4 inches at 40. I remeasured brace height, it was the same. So I moved up to 20 yds. Yup there low. I thought I cracked a limb. Can't find a problem with them.
Started checking scope. The screws that hold scope mount to receiver where loose. Also found quiver Mont and bracket loose. Also found rail mounting screw at trigger loose.
I have tightened all of them. Metal to metal got loctite put on after a good cleaning.
I should be good for a long season to come.
Just wanted to throw a reminder out there.
1 week to go. Good luck to all.

Re: A reminder.

Yep. Most of the time if the point of impact changes it is usually do a loose screw or bolt somewhere.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!
