I personally will never own a Barnett cause I have read to many complaints about em over the years. You can get a Wicked Ridge for that much coin. The PSE Fang gets good reviews once you get a better scope and bolts which would still put you under 4 bills.

Wicked Ridge would be my recommendation.

In that price range the Wicked Ridge line from Ten Point may be worth a look. I have not shot, or owned one, but can't say I heard anything bad about them.

Wicked Ridge Warrior or PSE Fang. I would opt for the Warrior. Not the fastest budget bow out there but dependable and backed by great customer service from a company that leaves and breathes crossbows.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: recommend a budget xbow

I just received a killer insticnk ki-350
Found it online for less than $350 delivered.

350 fps, shoots 1 inch at 35 yards with good arrows.
One of the best I ever had.

Good Luck, Stan
