Great Service from Parker Crossbows

Sent my Parker Tornado out for repair July 17th. A screw in the head was frozen and I could not change the cable.

It came back today. I think that is great!!

Re: Great Service from Parker Crossbows

Parker is awesome. I damaged my string assembling my crossbow and they had me a new one - at no charge - in a hurry. It doesn't hurt that their product is excellent.

I knew nothing of their crossbows until I shot my old Horton Team RealTree head-to-head again my buddy's Parker Cyclone and got rocked. The accuracy on the Parker Tornado F4 I bought (after I ditched the Horton) is nothing short of spectacular. You don't dare group the thing at 20 yards unless you want to split your last shot. I've had it for a couple of seasons and use it occasionally instead of my compound when the situation is better suited for a crossbow. Two shots in the field thus far = two dead deer. If this one ever wears out, I'm going right back to them for a newer model.

I like what I,ve been hearin about Parker. What is the difference between the Ambusher and T/Hawk and is the Hawk worth a hundred bucks more?

At a glance, the Ambusher has the adjustable rubber spacer pad for eye relief adjustment, and also has adjustable draw weight, neither of which the T/Hawk features.

I think Parker makes the most underrated crossbow in the business. When I say they are accurate, I mean it. I trust my Tornado F4 enough to willfully make a clean kill spine shot like this at 18 yards in the last 5 minutes of legal daylight. They're that good - pick a spot, aim, hit it:

Let us know how you like it if you do. By the way, it looks like the T/Hawk gets an extra 10 fps. Not much, but it's something. I can tell you that with a 125 gr. field tip or broadhead, my Tornado F4 hits *exactly* its advertised speed over a chronograph. I would expect their advertised numbers to hold up with their other models accordingly.

Re: Great Service from Parker Crossbows

Thanks.I was strongly considering a Wicked Ridge Invader G3 with retractable rope cocker on sale for $425 after rebate.I never gave much thought of Parkers cause no shop around me carries em but I see now Cabela,s does and they are only a half hour away.I really like all of the great reports I have heard about them but also heard that about WR too. With the Cabela,s bucks sale it puts them both close in price.Would the Parker be more comparable to the higher up Ten Points or are they a little lower on the totem pole like the W/Ridges?How comparable are the limbs and other components of the two?I would think the Parker from what I read would have the edge.
