broad head change up opinions wanted.

I'm in the market for a new broadhead for my excel equinox..i have it down to 3 heads and I was wondering what I can expect out of them for accuracy or which is the better one for accuracy..they are

Ramcat 125 gr
muzzy trocar 125 gr
skick trick grizz trick2 125 gr

I'm using muzzy 3 blade right now and have no trouble with the way they shoot out of my xbow..I have herd a good many people say they couldn't get them to shoot well out of a xbow but I have not had any trouble..whats your thoughts guys?

Re: broad head change up opinions wanted.

Ive experimented with the Ramcats and think I will use them full time this yr. They fly great for me.
ST Magnum has been my primary head for the past 5 yrs. No issues with flight.

I like to play around with a head before using for deer. Shoot some hogs, etc. I'm also going to get some grim reaper expandables. My friend swears by em

Keep in mine I'm a tuning fanatic and can shoot most heads wo issue.

Your spot I NEVER go back
My spot I expect the same

Re: broad head change up opinions wanted.

The Equinox is not very finicky when it comes to arrows and broadheads. Of the 3 you mentioned, I think you will really like the RamCats and the Grizz Tricks. The Ramcats fly great but you have to keep tightening the blades when you are target shooting. That bothers some folks. I have used them alot.

You may want to consider the G5 Striker as well. I shot them many times out of my Excalibur and they always flew great for me.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: broad head change up opinions wanted.

I have shot the G5 and they flew great..but when they went thru a Ground hog and hit the dirt and rocks they broke or chipped really bad

I have used the Muzzy 3 blade with the 1-3/16 cutting diameter for about 25 years and they have been my primary head because of the durability of them the whole thing with them is they have the aluminum ferrule and they bend at times, but I'm getting low on them and figured I would give something new a try..

I'm not one of these guys that expect a broad head to fly like a field point and not afraid to tune the bow to get them to fly either..

I do know that I will not use a mechanical for big game just because of the "IF" factor.call me hard headed but I have tried a few and i will use them on varmits and turkeys but not big game..

Re: broad head change up opinions wanted.

You want a dead deer in a short track.
Rage 125 gr xbow heads.

First buck. Dropped in sight.

2nd buck. Ran 60 yds.

Last year's buck. Ran 70 yards.

No problems. Just dead deer.
No tracking either. Just follow the red trail.

This is a blood trail from a rage.
Dead deer 20 yds beyond rock.
