Bolts?

I need to buy some more bolts for my Excalibur Exocet 200. I've been shooting Gold Tip Laser-2 carbon bolts and was going to get more of the same but it seems like they're not made anymore. I can still find them but thought I'd get some recommendations from you guys.

Eh...wot?

Re: Bolts?

The Victory Xbolts are about the same price as the Laser IIs and I think a slightly better arrow overall. They shoot great in my Excal Vortex which is essentially the same bow as yours.

The Exocet is not arrow finicky. I would go with some of Arrowheads custom Victorys. Great price and service.

Yep I shot Arrowhead's Victory setup out of my Vortex and it was a great combo. I must admit that I do miss that bow a little as it was a great shooter. It just had a wide wingspan.

Re: Bolts?

Also the last time that I got his custom arrows, they were cheaper than most of the store bought factory arrows, so don't let the custom tag make you think they are expensive.

Re: Bolts?

Lugnut,

The Gold Tip Swift is the same arrow as the Laser II I believe. Gold Tip renamed their arrows recently. If you want to stick to the same arrow.

Re: Bolts?

Wow, thanks guys! I also make the Gold Tips and many others on request. I test and work with them all including a few that nobody will ever see. I recently had an arrow company contact me about branding a crossbow arrow with my name on it. We shall see, I won't be putting my name on it if they don't make some changes to it.
