Got a crossbow for Christmas!

My mom got me the black friday special barnett gamecrusher (looks like a jackal frame with wilcat? Limbs). Got it assembled, lubed, and sighted in. It took some getting used to for me, since its my first xbow and i wasnt sure what to expect, but after shooting it several times and dialing in the scope it feels pretty good. Got my archery license and some broadheads and feel pretty confident with making a solid shot on a deer. Going out for the first time with it tomorrow, know I'll have only my buddy on the 200 acres, and hoping that all the rain still has them moving. I like the idea of having a second chance for a buck this year, but will switch to my mossberg to do some walking midday. From what I've read in the book i dont need orange during late archery but will be wearing the sra shotgun standard for good measure.

Best of luck, bud. Remember aim small, get close, choose your shots wisely.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Enjoy your present they are fun to shoot and not difficult to get use to.

My ability to remember lyrics from songs of the 60's far exceed my ability to remember why I walked into the kitchen
