Crossbow Bolt Selection

I'm new to this forum and I'm seeking advice on crossbow bolt selection. I currently shoot a Ten Point Phantom w/ Pro Elite bolts and Omni lighted nocks. I have not had a problem with these bolts, matter of fact I've owned this crossbow for five years and killed five nice bucks. Just testing the waters for new bolts because I'm due to purchase some more. Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Big fan of Black Eagle Executioners and Easton FMJs. The truth is there are many fine crossbow arrows out there. With a relatively high performance bow like the Phantom, better quality arrows will maximize your accuracy.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Crossbow Bolt Selection

my Tornado shoots Gold Tip laser II very well.. economical bolt compared to the others. the come with brass inserts pair that up with a 100 gr. BH . that'll meet your 400 grain minimum and FOC accuracy . that's my preference. you may like something else.

I use the Easton FMJs with Grim Reaper Razor 125 gr tips

Re: Crossbow Bolt Selection

I like the Black Eagles. Arrows have come a long way in the last few years.

The one thing if you are happy with how your current setup is shooting then I would consider staying with what you have. I know I am guilty of changing my setup, but in a way it is kinda silly when you have something that works.

Traditions only last if you pass them down to your kids!
