Horton or Barnett?

Right now I have a Horton Vision reverse limb crossbow. But next year i'm thinking of upgrading. I'm thinking either the Horton Storm RDX or the Barnett Vengance.. Anyone have any experience with either of these? What's your thoughts?

Stay away from anything Barnett.

I don't hunt turkeys because I want to, I hunt turkeys because I have to.

Agreed, my first crossbow was a Barnett, and it was in the repair shop more often than I used it. My next crossbow was a Horton, I 've had NO problem with it since. I know Horton went out of business a few years ago and was bought up by 10 Point/Wicked Ridge, are they now making crossbows under the Horton name again?

Catch & release is for guys who don't know how to cook

Re: Horton or Barnett?

I own a Barnett Vengeance and have shot the Horton Storm. Of the two, I would opt for the Horton. Just a higher quality bow all the way around. My Vengeance has been a good bow. No problems with it.

I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!

Re: Horton or Barnett?

Get the Horton Storm. I have shot the others and the quality of the Storm is far superior to the rest of them.
