2011's are rolling in.

The newest in the Parker lineup is the Concorde with Quick Draw system. No ropes, no cranks. It's CO2 powered and cocks with the push of a button. No more dancing in a treestand and risking your life to cock your crossbow for a second shot. Just push the button to cock it. At the end of the day, push the button again and let the sting down. No more discharge targets. It's got 175 lb. limbs. Watch the Parker website for the videos, rumor has it they should be up in a week or two.

The Hornet Extreme is the next new bow for 2011. It's a 165 lb. and it appears to be a cross between the Tornado and the Enforcer. Details are still coming in on this bow.

For the Ladies, The Panther is a 150lb bow similar to the Enforcer that comes with pink Next G1 camo. It really isn't a bright pink, but a very subdued pink that almost doesn't look pink at all unless you place a non-pink bow beside it.

String stoppers will be available for the full line of crossbows this year. Concorde and Cyclone come with sting stoppers. Available for the Tornado, Enforcer, Bushwacker and Hornet Extreme.

The Buck Buster 150 and 175 are discontinued.

Just got a shipment of the 2011 crossbows. Tornados and Enforcers came in today.

That new concorde with the quick draw system sounds really interesting. I wonder if the c02 has to be refilled.

Any changes to the tornado next year?

It looks like the Tornado will be the same as last year.

Re: 2011's are rolling in.

The 2011 Tornado is exactly the same bow as the 2010 except you saved $50. That is a good thing isn't it? I've got one 2010 left if anyone is interested.

Re: 2011's are rolling in.

I think I like the controlled discharge since I don't have to wait til I get to the truck/target, but cocking the crossbow is something thatI don't want to loose...kinda of the "it's go time" moment when using the weapon.

Guess I'll keep my "Old" one.

Re: 2011's are rolling in.

They have a provision to cock the bow with a rope cocker, just in case you forget to refill the CO2 cylinder. I'm not sure you can uncock it with an empty cylinder though, I'll have to ask that question when I get to the ATA show.
