Looks like I could be done with ten point. I guess all new ten points now must shoot Omni nocks, there own brand. I hate it when companys go away from the standard stuff just to make you buy their equipment. It's gonna make it hard to buy arrows locally. I have an older Tenpoint so I can still shoot lumenocks but when I upgrade I guess I'll be looking at another brand.
Honestly, you can just shoot moon nocks instead. That is the one thing that always bothers me about crossbows. All of the different nock options. With time, I expect the OmniNock to be pretty universal in all crossbows. Bowtech, TenPoint, the new Horton already use them. Others may follow in time.
I support all hunters, regardless of weapon or technique!
Yup needs a standard. Ten point recommends flat nocks on my model. Now they went to Omni nocks. Hard enough finding flat Luminocks without ordering them. Now they need Omni. I suppose it will be awhile before we have Omni lumenocks
I purchased my first X bow last summer. Wicked ridge by ten point. The aluminum shaft omni nocks didnt survive practice, so I tried a carbon half moon… accuracy was the same…one bolt at a time or risk splitting them, harvested my first X-bow deer with half moon carbon fiber not the recommended omni nock.

Or, you could just buy the Omni Bushings and install in your arrows. You could then use Omni, Omni-Brite, Moon or Capture nocks in the bushing all while using the same set of arrows. I think the bushing system is a great idea. Use the Omni nocks all summer to practice and just before season switch to the lighted ones to hunt with. Same arrow, same indexing of the nock. Just change the nock. Simple and easy.
